Researched , Wrote , Produced and directed a reality educational TV documentary on beggars in Sri Lanka named “Yachaka Yathra” (Journey of beggars), based on the research book by prof. Nandasena Rathnapala. History of beggars, real life behaviors and sociological scenarios were captured and revealed in this program.

In 2003, Produced and directed a documentary on Sir Arthur C. Clarke, for his 85th birthday. It was titled “a prophet of technology”, and it reviewed the entire life and works of Sir Clarke. I was the first personal Director and producer in Island , who got this precious opportunity and permission during the period , to produce an international standard TV show based on the legendary icon. The program was gifted to Sir Arthur C. Clarke and it was telecasted on MTV channel, on his birthday. Later the program was submitted to BBC by Sir Clarke and Which later was telecasted on BBC.

Wrote and directed a reality documentary film on post Tsunami situation in Sri Lanka. This was a produced on behalf of a Canadian fund raising project for Sri Lanka. The entire costalbelt around the Island was captured through this documentary , revealing and reviewing the devastation of the destruction. This was created and presented with a positive motivation impression.

Wrote and directed the debuet Tele Film titled " Thuruliya Daruwo"– telecasted on local channel, MTV channel One. Professional and veteran cast and crew was involved in this production.

Creative Director of the fist ever open forum public reality show in Sri Lanka , Titled “Music Mega Star” . The concept of this program was similar to American Idle, and it was telecasted on MTV Channel One for a period of 8 months. This Reality Show was simulcasted on YES FM. At the beginning stages the show was live to tape recorded on multi camera consisting of 6 cameras. The Grand Finale was held at Galadhari - Colombo, and it was a multi camera production of 13 cameras, which was telecasted and broadcasted live for four Hrs On MTV and Yes FM. This Reality Show was extremely successful and popular among the English speaking forum In Island. The main Sponsor for this was Dialog PLC. This was produced as a trial Pilot Project to study the background , in order to launch Sirasa Super star.

Conceptualized, Wrote, and Directed TV documentaries on pioneer press organizations in Sri Lanka. (Associated Newspapers of Sri Lanka- Lake House / Wijaya Newspapers / Sumathi Newspapers and Upali Group)

Wrote and directed a Tele Film Series (Tele Drama) titled “Sadisi Tharanaya”, which consisted 30 episodes. This tele-film elaborates sensitive political and sociological situations and phenomenon in Sri Lanka. Cinematic techniques, expressions and technical methods were used for this television series, and was tagged as a cinematic expression on tele screen, A Tele-Film. This was a novel concept that was introduced to Sri Lankan television media. This tele series was the final musical composition Contribution by Maestro Premasiri Kemadas (2008-2009)

This tele series was nominated in several categories at National Television Award Festivals, and It won the awards for Best Direction , Best actor, Best Supporting actress and best up and coming actor at "Sumathi tele awards , OCIC signis awards , Raigam Teleawards

Wrote and directed a documentary on Climate change. It was screened at an international summit on climate issues.

Served as the chief assistant director and Production Coordinator in a foreign film production, directed by the senior veteran film director Mr. Samy Pavel. This film titled “Up to you” was shot in Thailand, Japan and India.

Conceptualizer and Creative Director of " Ranaviru Real Star" Mission 1 . This was the first ever National Scale Reality Show created on behalf of the defense and tri forces in Sri Lanka. It was organized by the defense ministry Of Sri Lanka, Under the initiative directions of the former secretary to defense and current president Mr. Gotabhyaya Rajapaksha ( The current President of Srilanka ). RRS Mission 1 was solely created conceptualized and directed by me in 2010, and I served directly to the ministry of difence during the service period.

Wrote & Produced a 30 Episode Artistic Tele series titled “Sassara wassane” – Telecasted On Derana TV - 2016
